May’s free PlayStation Plus titles are rad as hell and you should get them

PlayStation have announced the titles that will be free for PS Plus subscribers in May and dang, this month is bringing the goods.

PS4 owners will be treated to a pair of excellent titles including Tales from the Borderlands, Telltale’s five-part and (we think) most underrated series to date. It’s fast, fun, funny and is bursting with heart and wit. Play it.

The second PS4 title for the month is Alienation, a title that PS Plus owners in Australia are probably familiar with already. While our US friends are getting ABZU this month, apparently we’re missing out which is a bummer. Alienation is still very good though and you should grab it if you haven’t already.

PS3 owners, you’re getting Blood Knights and Port Royal III: Pirates and Merchants and PSVita stalwarts are getting Laser Disco Defenders and Type:Rider, both of which are available as cross-buy titles for your PS4.

All six games are available throughout the month of May and will be available for free to anyone with an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

A previous version of this article incorrectly listed Abzu as one of this month’s PS Plus titles for Australia. We have updated the piece to reflect the correct title.
