Here’s when you can watch tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct in Australian times

A massive hour-long Nintendo Direct broadcast drops tomorrow, but when can you see it in Australian times? Don’t worry — no matter which state you’re in, we’ve got you covered.

Where can I see the new Direct?

You can watch it live on the official Nintendo YouTube channel, or on Nintendo’s official Twitch channel.

What time does it kick off?

The broadcast kicks off at 2:00PM PT/5:00PM ET in the United States, but that doesn’t help Australian viewers very much. To help you out, here’s a state-by-state breakdown of when you can catch the new Nintendo Direct in Australian times.

NSW, VIC, TAS

9AM AEDT

Viewers in NSW, VIC and TAS will have to sneak the Direct in during work hours. True, it’s kind of Nintendo to give us a Direct that kicks off at a reasonable hour but we’re gonna have to hide our screens at work to catch it.

SA

8:30AM ACDT

South Australians will be squeezing half the Direct in before arriving at work.

QLD

8:00AM AEST

Queenslanders will be walking into work right as the Direct concludes. Pretty ideal, really. Good stuff, Queensland.

NT

7:30AM ACST

Territorians get perhaps the best deal — they can enjoy their breakfast, catch the Direct and still make it to work on time.

WA

6:00AM AWST

West Australians will be up early to catch the new Direct, but the good news is you have the whole day ahead of you once it’s over.

And finally, New Zealand friends, don’t think we’ve forgotten you.

NZ

11:00AM NZDT

Kiwis get a bit of a raw deal on timing, you’ll have to squeeze the Direct in at work. The good news is that when it ends, it’s time for lunch so you can immediately celebrate any hype announcements.
