Ubisoft’s forthcoming action RPG South Park: The Fractured But Whole has made it through the Australian Board of Classification without a single cut.
The news comes as a bit of a surprise for a couple of reasons. We were blown away by how far the game was willing to go for a laugh when we spent time with it at E3 earlier this year and predicted then that the Classification Board would cut it to ribbons (and we are happy to be proven wrong). It’s also an about-face for the Classifications Board after it cut content from the original game, 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Destiny, involving alien anal probes.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will release 100% uncut in Australia on October 17, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. It will be packing an R18+ rating (obviously).
