Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 3 officially coming later this year

Telltale Games’ popular series of episodic adventure games based on The Walking Dead will get a third season later this year. The news comes a new interview with Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner over at Mashable.

While Bruner doesn’t really go into specifics during the internet, he did  say that Season 3’s main goal is bringing new fans into the ongoing series. How such a move will affect the notoriously save-dependent, choice-riddled series remains to be seen, though Bruner says the form it takes will be “unexpected.”

More information is expected at San Diego Comic Con later this year.
