There’s a new Nintendo Direct coming this Thursday morning

A brand new Nintendo Direct presentation will broadcast on Twitch this Thursday morning at 8am AEST. The 45 minute broadcast will be primarily focused on upcoming Switch and 3DS titles.

So far, Nintendo have only confirmed a single game — Super Mario Odyssey — for the broadcast lineup, claiming they have “new details about” it to share. Odyssey is set to drop on October 27, is by far Nintendo’s biggest holiday launch, and anticipation is running high.

It’s not the only title Nintendo have up their sleeves for the remainder of 2017 though — across the 3DS and the Switch, Nintendo also have Fire Emblem WarriorsMario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minons, this week’s Metroid: Samus Returns and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Given the extended, 45-minute run time on the Direct itself, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see these titles getting a moment in the spotlight.

You’ll be able to catch the new Nintendo Direct for yourself live on Nintendo’s Twitch and YouTube channels at the unusually reasonable hour of 8am AEST/6am AWST. We’ll be covering everything Nintendo talks about as it happens.
