With two weeks to go, RTX Australia 2016 is now sold out

In great news for the local gaming convention scene, the first RTX Australia gaming convention has officially sold out ahead of its January debut according to Rooster Teeth Productions and Hanabee.

Hosted by Rooster Teeth, creators of online shows like Red vs. BlueRWBY, Achievement Hunter and Lazer Team, the convention will be the first RTX event to be held outside of the US. Among the guests planned to appear are founding RT staff Burnie Burns, Joel Heyman, Matt Hullum and Geoff Ramsey. Freddie Wong of Rocket Jump will also be in attendance along with the Funhaus and Social Disorder teams.

“The event is going to be an amazing mixture of community, gaming, internet culture and conversations about our experiences with all three. This is going to be a great start for what will surely be the first of many RTX events in Australia,” said Eric Cherry from Rooster Teeth’s Australian partner Hanabee.

RTX Australia will go off January 23-24, 2016 at Australian Technology Park in Sydney.
