WWE 2K24 announced, will celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania

2K has announced this morning that the next instalment in the popular wresting series will be WWE 2K24. It will also highlight 40 years of WrestleMania, along with iconic superstars via a new 2K Showcase mode.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes has also been revealed as the cover star for the Standard Edition, while multi-time champions Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair will feature on the Deluxe Edition covers.

With a selection of over 200 superstars on offer, the game will also introduce four new match types including Ambulance, Special Guest Referee, Casket and Gauntlet match.

WWE 2K24 will also bring with a bunch of new gameplay changes and upgrades, along with two new MyRISE mode storylines and original characters.

The Deluxe and WrestleMania Editions will include the Season Pass and multiple MyRISE and MyUNIVERSE goodies are set to release three days earlier on March 5th. The standard edition will follow on March 8th.

WWE 2K24 will also launch across next and previous generations platforms on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows PC.
