XCOM 2 coming to PS4 and Xbox One after all

Console fans of XCOM: Enemy Unknown rejoice: Firaxis’ excellent sequel, XCOM 2, is coming to current gen consoles later this year.

XCOM 2 was released as a PC exclusive back in February. A turn-based strategy title that attracted wild critical praise (from us too), it left console players out in the cold. The game launched with significant support for mods and an irritating lack of controller support.

Thankfully, that dark time is coming to an end for console players. XCOM 2 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on September 9. Preorders will get you a bunch of skins for your squaddies and the console edition will come with all currently available expansions.
