If you sink enough time into a video game, you’ll eventually come to feel like you’re quite good at it. Practice makes perfect, right? But every now and then, you’ll come across a player who has had such a complete mind-meld with a game’s controls that they are able to accomplish things you didn’t even know were possible. Zelda is a great example of this phenomenon.
Meet Peco, a Japanese video game streamer whose kinetic take on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s combat is currently taking Twitter by storm.
In the video posted to his Twitter account, Peco chips away at one of Breath of the Wild‘s toughest enemies, a Lynel. Known for being dangerous foes, Lynels have a high health pool and deal tremendous damage should a hit connect. They’re tough enough that there are endless guides online devoted to the best ways of taking a Lynel down, just in case you get stuck fighting one.
And Peco makes it look like child’s play.
Honestly, watch this:

I bet you didn’t even know you could do half of that stuff, did you? I certainly didn’t. Watch it again, watch his fingers on the controller. Superhuman. Zelda god.
It’s the way Peco uses all of the tools at his disposal and the dexterity with which he switches between them that makes this such compelling viewing. Breath of the Wild lets the player make their own fun. Peco’s balletic battle strategy is an extension of that, and a great indicator of why it’s considered one of the greatest video games ever made.
