40 Years of Morrissey Australian Tour dates announced

Morrissey the lead singer and lyrist of lengendary 1980s English band The Smiths have just announced an Australian tour called “40 Years of Morrissey” and it’s happening this year!

To the delight of his fans, Morrissey will play all the favourites from The Smiths through to his solo career.

Expect to hear the classics from his The Smiths era, including, “This Charming Man”, “Hand In Glove”, “There is a Light That Never Goes Out”, “How Soon is Now? and his solo works including “Suedehead”, “Everyday is Like Sunday” and “Irish Blood, English Heart”.

Hailing from Manchester, Morrissey with guitarist Johnny Marr formed The Smiths in 1983 and signed to Rough Trade releasing four studio albums to critical acclaim, including a session with legendary radio host John Peel’s BBC radio 1 show and thirteen solo studio albums, his fourteenth Without Music the World Dies to be released towards the end of 2023.
