South Australian artists have been given another chance to hit up stages at the Clipsal 500, with the Bands On Track competition now open! This year saw the likes of Nakatomi, Cabin Cults, Wasted Wanderers and Thom Lion win opening spots at the concerts held in early March; winners of the Bands On Track comp for 2017 will be notified on January 21st – in the meantime, head on over to their website here to enter.
Today, it was announced that the Hilltop Hoods would be headlining the Friday night (March 3rd) concert of the 2017 live music program, supported by Seth Sentry, Funkoars and Aaradhna, while Saturday (March 4th) will see the already announced Hunters & Collectors, supported by Baby Animals, play.
Two South Australian artists will be selected for each night, with the final Sunday night headline concert still to be announced.
