AFI have just announced two sideshows alongside their support slot for Green Day‘s Saviors tour. Dates have been added for Sydney and Brisbane, with presale kicking off next week.
AFI (short for A Fire Inside) began as a hardcore act in the early 90s, and eleven studio albums, 10 EPs, 4 MTV Music Video Awards, and one Grammy nomination later, they’re one of alternative’s most enduring acts. Blending rock, punk, gothic rock, horror punk, emo, and more into their sound, they’re far more than ‘Miss Murder’ (it still slaps though).
It’s AFI’s first time back in Australia in eight years, so don’t sleep on tickets! Here’s all the info you’ll need:
