Exclusive Album Premiere: Vetty Vials Conversations With Myself (2020)

Sydney’s Vetty Vials releases her debut album  Conversations With Myself tomorrow (14th February) and we are delighted today to be able to offer you a sneak peek at this gem of an album. The lead single “Pride” was released earlier last month, and it was a great lead-in to the rest of the album. This followed on from the earlier releases of “Say” and “Tired”.

The album is well titled, as the songs are undoubtedly largely confessional and drawn from her own experiences. She has a terrific voice, with a little country tinge in there, powered by a bold kick-arse edge. This is an album which richly rewards with each subsequent listen. Fans of Ruby Fields and Club Hoy should enjoy this album.

Vetty describes the development of this album  “I was lucky enough to co-write some of the songs on this record with Tim Maxwell from Loser; that really changed the writing process for me as it gave me a fresh perspective on changing some of my old habits and getting a new sound.”

The album was produced by Daniel Antix at Def Wolf Studio and mastered by Andrew Edgson at Studios 301.

Go ahead and jump right in, the album is here in full to listen to.
