Alice Night set for the ‘Culture How Could You?’ LP launch tour this month!

“Honest as fuck” folk artist Alice Night made her entrance known with the release of her debut album Culture How Could You? earlier this year – a collection of music displaying an ambitious and talented knack for storytelling and weaving of sounds.

Based in Brisbane, Night was inspired by  2014 relocation to New York, where the flavour and incredibly unique personality  of the city inspired and influenced the direction of her writing.

“I wrote half the album there,” she’s said. “Scrawling away in cafes with my guitar n hand, relying on the kindness of strangers. Once home in Australia, I worked with electronic artists, composers, experimental sound makers, dancers and theatre makers to bring the records and live show to life.”

This month, Night will be bringing Culture How Could You? to venues in Tasmania and through the east coast, along with some unmissable special guests including album collaborator and award winning composer, Robert Davidson (Topology).

To see how this intricate and heartfelt music has been prepared for the live stage, be sure to check Alice Night and her supporting artists out from next week!
