The Australian Music Vault has been a popular mainstay at Arts Centre Melbourne since its debut, providing visitors with an excellent insight into the way Australian music and the industry has developed over the decades – from iconic outfits to instruments and handwritten lyrics and arrangements, there’s so much to see and learn and best of all, it’s free!
As part of their program, the Sound As Ever podcast has emerged as a platform for young radio producers to connect with members of the industry in discussing issues that music professionals and artists face daily. Since last September, six producers have been working on Sound As Ever to conduct the interviews, engineer and produce the podcast, featuring the likes of Eilish Gilligan, Kate Duncan (The Push), Jacinta Parsons (ABC) and Joe Toohey (Creative Arts Victoria).
