Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme to play Good Vibrations and timetables released!

This morning, Jam Music announced that Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme will be joining the line up for the 2011 Good Vibrations Festival! This no doubt fills the gap left by Cee Lo Green, who pulled out of the festival earlier this year due to unexpected Grammy commitments.

Often likened to a contemporary Marvin Gaye or Bill Withers, US maverick Aloe Blacc’s style of rich, expressive soul has gained him a legion of fans all over the globe. Blacc’s infectious lead single “I Need a Dollar” from his latest album release Good Things gained triumphant critical acclaim as the theme song of HBO series “How to Make It in America’’, with follow up singles “You Make Me Smile” and “Miss Fortune” creating further waves for the socially conscious songwriter.

Aloe Blacc will be joining already announced headliners Faithless, Phoenix, Nas & Damian Marley, Sasha, Ludacris, Erykah Badu, Kelis, The Ting Tings, Miike Snow, Friendly Fires, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Mike Posner, Yolanda Be Cool, Rusko, Fake Blood, Sidney Samson, Bag Raiders, Koolism, Tim & Jean, Kill The Noise, Fenech-Soler and a whole host of locals on the 2011 Good Vibrations Festival line up (see below).
