Ghost of Tsushima marks the end of an era.
It is the final first-party exclusive for the PlayStation 4, which is both bittersweet and hard to believe.
Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world samurai adventure developed by Sucker Punch. It recalls the drama and majesty of Kurosawa in full flight, putting players in the shoes of a lone wolf samurai defending his homeland. Tsushima looks to embrace its inspirations, moving between the still tension and explosive action that makes the genre beloved.
The latest installment of our Audio Settings series aims to do the same. This playlist embraces samurai media as a whole, with music from beloved Kurosawa masterworks and genre titans like Lady Snowblood. We’ve interspersed this with contemporary tracks from American samurai films like Kill Bill Part 1 and anime like Samurai Champloo and Ninja Scroll.
Ghost of Tsushima launches July 16, 2020 exclusively on PlayStation 4. We’ll be bringing you our full review shortly.
