Earlier this year, Brous gave a taste of what’s to come, delivering the fluttering psych-pop anthem ‘Streamers’. It was picked up quickly by radio, with triple j adding it to rotation and featuring her on Unearthed. Triple R and FBi also gave the track their nod of approval, the latter crowning her their ‘Unsigned Artist of the Week’. The accompanying video clip for Streamers similarly caused a stir, with Rage naming it their ‘Indie Clip of the Week’.
The Brous EP has a depth and richness of sound. The five stunningly penned songs cover vast musical terrain, all brought together by her powerful voice. Written by Brous and co-produced by herself, Scott Horscroft and Shags Chamberlain, the EP is a bold debut for the Melbourne artist.
Brous will be bringing her accomplished 5-piece band on the road for the tour, which will also feature supports from Daisy M Tulley (Bridezilla) and Magic Silver White. Tickets for Brous’ September Tour are on sale now.
