Carla Lippis’s post-apocalyptic band Mondo Pyscho drop a dope music video

Carla Lippis

After stunning audiences at this year’s NLMA awards, and again at the SA Music Awards, Carla Lippis and Mondo Psycho have released an unhinged video that captures their style perfectly.

The title of the song, “I Paint with the Brush of Violence” tells it all. Lippis’s personal style evokes the black macintosh-wearing killers of Dario Argento lore. Lippis commands the stage, adorned in tall stilettos with a blade in hand, fearlessly delving into the savagery of the modern media-scape.

Praise for Carla Lippis & Mondo Psycho has come from as far as Rolling Stone, Germany and American Pancake. With comparisons to Lene Lovich and 90’s Riot Grrl,  Lippis takes no prisoners.

Immerse yourself in the multi-sensory, haunting and theatrical experience that is Mondo Psycho.
