Dean Lewis‘ chart topping single “Be Alright” has topped the ARIA Singles and TMN Hot 100 Airplay Charts for the fourth week in a row. Now certified Double Platinum in Australia, “Be Alright” has had over 100 million global streams, including 10 million video views.
Phenomenally, Dean Lewis is the 103rd most listened to artist in the world on Spotify, and has yet to release his debut album. With 15.5 million monthly listeners, his music has been streamed globally over 400 million times. Lewis’ single “Waves” became the second biggest selling Australian single of 2017, was nominated for a multitude of awards and appeared on popular shows such as Suits, Riverdale and Grey’s Anatomy.
His astronomical success continues with the release of “Be Alright” which is dominating global music charts. The single has topped the Apple Music, Shazam, iTunes and Spotify charts, currently #16 on the Spotify Global Chart.
As if these figures weren’t impressive enough, Lewis’ Australian summer tour is close to sold out, even after the addition of several more dates. Due to huge demand in his hometown of Sydney, it was announced last week that Lewis will play a 5th and final show at The Metro, setting a record at the venue for number of shows in 2018.
