It’s about time Adelaide pulled up its bootstraps and started making use of the venues and the talented folk wanting to put their music scene back on the map. Oh wait, they are? Yes, yes they are. From the crew who puts on some of the city’s biggest shows at Fat Controller and Five Four Entertainment, who have been responsible for hosting huge festival events and bringing some massive names through Adelaide, comes OH YES.
The brand new festival experience heads to the Wayville Showgrounds on September 29th, headlined by Duke Dumont and will be featuring some of the country’s favourite indie and electronic artists. With PNAU, SAFIA, Northeast Party House and Vallis Alps, Heaps Good Friends and Just A Gent onboard to party – as well as some more acts, still unannounced – OH YES is set to establish itself as one of the city’s best new events. Here’s hoping it takes off.
Pre-release tickets are on sale from 9am, August 11th, with general ticket sales commencing from 9am, August 14th. There are limited VIP upgrades available, so have a suss of the price brackets below and decide which one you’re going to jump on.
