Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Busby Marou “Got Your Back” (2018)

It won’t be long before fans can see Busby Marou back on the road, the duo will be returning to regional venues (and some city haunts) this month and through May with their latest single, “Got Your Back”. The single itself comes as the group near the end of their successful Postcards From The Shell House album cycle – this particular piano version of the song really driving home it’s evocative nature, at the core of the songwriting.

Stepping out from their usual guitar driven style, Jeremy admits this song proved a refreshing challenge.

“This version definitely through me outside my comfort zone…Guitar is certainly my thing but after laying this track don’t be surprised if you see a grand piano replacing a guitar from time to time. I’m no Elton John on the piano but I do know some basic chords, add a few harmonies and sometimes you can come up with something beautiful.”

The below music video shows Tom and Jeremy performing a stunning rendition of “Got Your Back” – filmed at La Cueva Recording studios in Queensland, produced by Jon Hume and directed by Brodie Rocca. Also featuring on this one is Emma Beau, coming in with lovely harmonies to complement Tom’s lead vocal.
