Exclusive Music Video Premiere: The Franklin Electric “Burning Flame” (2017)

Evocative Montreal four piece, The Franklin Electric, have released a gorgeous visual accompaniment to their tune “Burning Flame”, premiering today on the AU. As far as Monday’s go, this tune is bound to pick you up or at least have you feeling some kind of way, with the Canadians linking up with the talented Ryley Burghall to direct the narrative.

Shot in Toronto, the clip follows the teenage protagonist breaking free from the constraints of normal life; as The Franklin Electric’s Jon Matte comments,

“This was a spontaneous last minute addition to the record about the fire that feeds us and brings us to do all the things we do, or ignore the things we don’t do but wish we had. A voice inside most of us that can easily be ignored but the burn is a constant reminder.”
