Sarah Stone came into the public consciousness via The Voice, Australia, taking out a spot in the top 6. Since then, Sarah has built a strong following on YouTube and has been working on her own songwriting. We are thrilled today to be premiering the first single off her debut EP, “What We Do”. It’s a highly personal song, dealing with the difficulties of dating someone who is ultimately incompatible. This is strong, powerful electronic pop. “What We Do” showcases a voice which is crying out to fill stadiums.
It has been quite a journey for Sarah to get to this point. As she told us “After spending the last 3 years taking time to connect back with myself and my music, I feel I have finally reached a point of truth and acceptance. I feel more ready than I ever have and have more faith in my direction then I ever have”
Sarah describes how the song deals with the trials and tribulations of love “Writing this song for me was extremely cathartic and opened the floodgates of understanding and processing my experiences from the last 5 years of living, dating, laughing, crying and everything in between”.
