Lovers of nostalgia pop will totally dig this new release “Let’s Stop Pretending”, from Sydney-based rockers The Sunday Estate. We have the first look at this track and its accompanying video ahead of its official release this Friday, 11th October.
“Let’s Stop Pretending” is a song that hits you in the chops from the outset. It’s instantly accessible, paying a healthy homage to The Strokes. Apparently the inspiration for the song comes from the Netflix rom-com ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’.
The track was produced and mixed by Ryan K Brennan (Phantastic Ferniture, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Julia Jacklin) .
The video was directed by Dane Wang (Bare Bones, Acid Reign) at Create Or Die studios. Give it a play below.
