While currently on the road with LANKS, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Tyne-James Organ has found the time to release a follow-up to last year’s deeply personal “Watch You Go”, the delicate single which immediately endeared the young artist to music fans across the country. Titled “Graceful”, the new song is a boppy showcase for Organ’s versatility, still pulling on those arresting vocals but switching that up with an energetic, rhythmic instrumental to inspire an equally upbeat performance from the 22-year-old Wollongong native.
The song had it’s first go-round last night on triple J Good Nights, but we’re bringing the digital premiere straight to you today so you can quickly get across the very fine single before Organ’s upcoming showcases at BIGSOUND.
“Graceful” comes after a big year for Organ, who describes the new single as a perfect summation of the last 12 months of his life, a channel for everything he’s been wanting to say but hasn’t been able to.
“It’s funny, when you’re with someone they can so easily make you feel like you’re the entire world, but then the moment that’s gone you find yourself questioning every part of your existence. For me, creating this song was about emerging out the other side and finding a sense of grace within myself.”
You can catch Tyne-James Organ at the following BIGSOUND showcases, as well as at the end of the year as he plays NYE on the Hill.
