Exclusive Video Premiere: Garage Noise “Eden” (2025)

Garage Noise

Last Friday Sydney indie-rockers Garage Noise released their latest earworm, the earnest and catchy “Eden”. We are super excited to be premiering the video ahead of its release on Friday.

The four-piece are masters at taking their audience along with them on their sonic journey. With punchy guitars, a driving bass line, high-octane drums, sweet melodies and an engaging storyline, “Eden” ticks all the boxes. The track is the first taste from their upcoming EP, Daisybrain, which they have been recording at the Damien Gerard Studios in West Gosford. It follows on from their debut EP Innocent Streams, which was released in 2023.

Garage Noise is comprised of Samuel Milne, Zac Lynch, Bella Wilson and Flynn Silvia. They have given the AU an exclusive insight into the video:

FlynnEden follows the story of a young couple navigating the different stages of a relationship and fleeing the confines of their homes, families and external influences. The goal with Eden was to create an atmosphere for the listener with a strong groove and a catchy hook.

ZacEden for me was the first stage for the whole EP where I began motioning towards more interesting and focused songwriting, especially with the guitar. The song was really a canvas that let me take what was good about ‘Innocent Scenes’ [the first EP] and evolve that sound to add some depth and freshness I was wanting.

BellaEden was the song that really kicked things into motion for us. It is a song that is really easy to latch onto, and shows our storytelling ability. Shooting the music video allowed us to explore the details of what we had written more, and add another layer of meaning to the track. The visuals compliment the track in a very literal way as the lyrics are quite metaphorical, particularly in the second verse, where we reference the Garden of Eden, but then visually it shows the breakdown of the relationship and the consequences of a toxic situation.

Sam: Eden was created from a space of being blinded by the red flags that you fully indulge in your emotions towards someone until you start realising all these toxic traits” “The music video is about these 2 people who have been through the best and worst stages of a relationship and eventually break up. They later reconnect to reminisce the little things such as a song that made the relationship so worth it”

They are taking time out of the studio to kickoff their The Garden of Eden tour to celebrate the release of the new single. All the dates are below and the first show is this Friday night at The Alley in Sydney. Get out there and support live music!
