We’ve got an Exclusive Video Premiere to start the week off from Sydney rockers Polymer. The single is taken from their forthcoming debut LP Zealots Box. The hard-hitting trio was formed in 2018 and features members of Samsara and Age of Menace. The band is comprised of Anthony Semrani on vocals and guitar, Constantine Kotsiras on drums and Adam Barns on bass. They have bought their collective musical history and tastes into this hard-hitting collaboration.
The LP was produced and mixed by Andrew Covell. If you like your music with a touch of Queens of the Stone Age, blended in with some Foo Fighters and the anthemic Kings of Leon, then we reckon you will dig Polymer and in particular “Believers”.
Discussing their method to creating music, they mused “All our music has some serious undertones that inspire each track, be it a personal experience, or world events, we definitely have some strong opinions on a lot of things. Luckily we can express them, albeit under the guise of music.”
The clip was filmed in an abandoned warehouse in Sydney, so they were able to dodge the usual frantic pressure of time to film. It was directed by Nicole Norelli.
The boys have the following upcoming shows:
Sunday 28th July: Frankies Pizza, Sydney (supporting Elephant Hive (Israel)
Saturday 10th August: Lass O’Gowrie, Newcastle
Friday 23rd August: The Lansdowne, Sydney
Thursday 5th September, The Hideaway Bar, Sydney
