Hailing from Maitland, in NSW’s Hunter Valley, The Golden Gaytimes are a band cranking out fun psychedelic party tunes. They’ve recently released their debut album, Hot As Buggery, and we are delighted to have the video premiere for the latest single to drop, “The Golden Gaytimes Theme”.

The album is packed with ten psychedelic rock songs, filled with humour and irreverance. With track names such as “Swipe Right Swipe Left”, “Goalposts on the Lazy Susan” and “Bindi Eyes”, there is more than a passing nod to Australiana and the hazards of modern life in the mix.
The video was edited by Matthew Walker and is a great indicator of the madcap fun of The Golden Gaytimes. They have some single launch shows in Sydney, Wollongong and Woy Woy in July, then kickoff an East Coast tour in September. All the dates are below.
