Tomorrow night, the AU review is partnering with Ruby Tuesday at The Workers Club in Melbourne to throw a massive 6th Birthday Party! We’re getting to know all the bands playing the night, and today we get to know Leisure Suite.
Who we are:
Leisure Suite. We’re a three-piece band from Melbourne.
How we came together:
The three of us met through uni and bonded over a mutual appreciation of J Dilla and fried food. Our music is pretty much the by-product of a long string of burger dates and jam sessions.
We Sound Like:
If Cat Power and XXYYXX got drunk at a party and made sweet, passionate love, got knocked up and gave birth to triplets who later started a band together — or something along those lines?
