Good Things Festival drops a stacked lineup for 2024

The Good Things 2024 lineup is finally here, and it is stacked!

Headlining the event is the iconic Californian nu-metal band Korn, marking the thirtieth anniversary of their ground-breaking debut album. Joining them are Sum 41, who will deliver their final-ever Australian shows as they bid farewell to fans early next year. Playing tracks from their earlier albums (and a couple of gems from their recent work!), Sum 41 are determined to go out with a bang and solidify their status as pop-punk icons. The 80s folk-punk trailblazers Violent Femmes will also grace the main stage, performing classics like “Blister in the Sun” and “Add It Up.”

Among the other highlights are German electronicore sensation Electric Callboy, known for viral hits “Hypa Hypa,”, “We Got The Moves”, Babymetal duet “RATATATA,” and an insanely good cover of Cascada’s “Everytime We Touch”. Smashing PumpkinsBilly Corgan will take to the stage joined by Aussie rockers The Delta Riggs, playing some solo tracks as well as a few Smashing Pumpkins hits. The Gaslight Anthem also make their long-awaited Australian return, fresh off the release of comeback album History Books. ARIA Hall of Famers JET join the lineup, celebrating the recent twentieth anniversary of their multi-platinum album Get Born. Australian rock legends The Living End will make their sole 2024 appearance at Good Things Festival, performing hits like “Second Solution” and “Prisoner of Society.” Fans will also get the chance to see 90s American rockers Bowling For Soup in Australia for the first time in over fifteen years, celebrating the twentieth anniversary of A Hangover You Don’t Deserve. Slayer‘s Kerry King and heavy metallers Mastodon are also set to tear up the festival.

The impressive line-up continues with more huge acts such as Sleeping With Sirens, The Butterfly Effect, and Alpha Wolf, among many others.

STAGE 666 is also on the cards for 2024 run. We can likely expect the return of the live karaoke band, as well as DJ sets, alongside the carnivalesque Freak Show lounge, hosted by the knife-throwing, gravity defying Captain Ruin, and with an appearance from the princess of pain herself, Princess Tweedle Deedle.

Good Things is always a great time, with amazing music, great facilities, and an overall positive vibe. It’s the ultimate festival for fans of heavier music in Australia, and having been to every event since its beginning in 2018, I can safely say it’s a personal favourite of mine.

Early bird presale will begin on August 27, with tickets going on sale to the general public on August 29. To sign up to presale and stay updated on announcements, click HERE.
