Hein Cooper makes his long awaited return with “Hear My Voice”

Hein Cooper – easily one of our favourite songwriters of the last handful of years – has finally dropped a new piece of music in the gorgeous, “Hear My Voice”. As the first taste of Cooper’s highly anticipated new music, “Hear My Voice” isn’t afraid to put the personal on full view.

“This song is about my experiences with falsehood, of hiding behind a version of myself that I’ve built up in a fantasy influenced by all the information thrown at us in 2018.” Cooper has explained. “It’s a conversation that I’m having with myself, basically saying: ‘Are you in there? Coz the guy answering the door is an a**hole and there’s gotta be someone else I can talk to!”
