Opera Oblivia is the much anticipated third album from Sydney’s Hellions and this coming July and August, the band will be celebrating their new collection of material with a brand new headline tour!
Recorded at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand, the album has been constructed as an avenue for escape for the listeners, says guitarist Matthew Gravolin. “More than that, we want it to commiserate with people through our common unpleasantries and overwhelming hardships, and also celebrate alongside our inevitable victory. We want people to allow it to befriend them and remain with them long after its sound fades out.”
Fans have already gotten a taste of Opera Oblivia in “Quality of Life” most recently – we can’t wait to see what else this album holds!
