Hot Chip have released their cover of Bruce Springsteen‘s pop anthem “Dancing In The Dark” after giving the 1984 song a run at recent festival performances in Europe and the US. As you might expect from the British group, the twist they’ve applied to The Boss’ original is high energy and just made for the type of club and festival crowds they garner each tour. Hot Chip went one further with this one, dropping an official music video for their cover, blending concert footage with some great grainy, 80s TV footage. Listen through as the group swaps Springsteen for LCD Soundsystem around the 5:30 mark, with their cover of “All My Friends” taking the reins.
