South Australia is spurring on the momentum surrounding the wealth of events happening out in their wine regions – you don’t just head out to McLaren Vale, the Barossa and Adelaide Hills and the Clare Valley for hens days and weddings anymore, oh no. Now, vineyards and the gorgeous surrounds of South Australian farms are becoming prime locations for homegrown music and arts festivals that are all about supporting local talent, produce and business. BlenheimFest is just one of those making their mark.
Held over two days this year (April 13th & 14th), the festival will feature a killer line up of Australian bands including Tijuana Cartel, Sahara Beck and Max Savage & The False Idols, a total of 25 bands and artists set to hit the stage over Thursday and Friday’s program.
Last year, the not-for-profit event drew 1,800 attendees and ended up raising $23,000 for charity – a massive feat. Totally volunteer run, BlenheimFest prides itself on its boutique nature, showcasing some incredible food vendors complete with diverse menus, visual and performance artists and a market place.
Camping is included in the festival ticket price, so you know you’re getting value for your money all the way round. Tickets are available via www.blenheimfest.com.au now – head on over for more information on the event!
