Earlier today on Twitter and Facebook, the internationally renowned EDM event Ultra Music Festival opened up accounts that indicated they’ll be heading to Australia very soon. For those not in the know, Ultra occurs every March, just after SXSW, in Miami, Florida. In 2013 alone, 330,000 people headed to Bayfront Park for the mammoth event.
Since their huge presence has made fans salivate around the world, they have started travelling their circus, with 2014 already scheduled to take Ultra to South Africa. An inaugural 2 day event will be held in Cape Town and Johannesburg on February 14th & 15th, respectively.
So, could Australia be next on the cards? Well, there’s nothing on these accounts but the use of the official logos to indicate one way or the other, but with their movements to South Africa in mind, it’s starting to feel like we might be onto something…
