JACK’S fifth studio album “To The Sea’’ debuted at #1 and has produced two singles, the beautiful melodic slice of electric bliss “You And Your Heart” – and the current single “At Or With Me” who’s hilarious video is just undergoing its finishing touches. The new video featuring Andy Samberg of Saturday Night Live fame (who’s SNL skit “The Mellow Show” is hosted by Samberg playing Jack) as an over zealous heckler who gets under the skin of the normally unflappable Jack – is soon to be screened on Australian TV’s.

Joining JACK JOHNSON on his forthcoming National Australian tour will be Canadian duo Tegan and Sara. After years of selling out headline tours and holding court on the summer festival circuit, Tegan and Sara have become one of the most anticipated live shows among Australian music lovers. With a career that has been lavished with acclaim from fans and critics a-like, the Canadian-based twins, who have been writing together since they learned guitar, have taken a decade to hone their craft across their 6 highly successful albums. Returning to Australia behind last year’s newly optimistic Sainthood, Tegan and Sara have long since proven themselves career songwriters and performers, enjoying mounting critical acclaim and a rabid fan base that grows more diverse by the day.
Also joining Jack Johnson on the National tour will be Australian soulful bluesman Ash Grunwald. This Supreme blues-man has been bringing roots back since his debut solo album Introducing: “Ash Grunwald” in 2002. Since then Grunwald has enjoyed a healthy stream of success with each of his 5 albums receiving much acclaim and gaining him a very loyal fan-base. Grunwald is a timeless blues talent having played his songs to audiences as far as the Mississippi Delta to the very reaches of Australia. His genre-defying new album “Hot Mama Vibes” is a melting pot of blues and soul that showcases his signature eclectic style and his unique one man band style of the blues.
Continuing his work in support of the environment JACK JOHNSON’S 2010 To The Sea Tour will collaborate with hand-chosen community groups in Australia as part of Johnson’s All At Once Community. The tour established a relationship with over 25 non-profit groups in 2008, such as the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, CERES and the Australian Conservation Foundation, donating money and time to promote their work in the field of environmental education and sustainable agriculture. As well as providing an onsite presence for these groups as part of the Village Green, Jack will once again be donating 100% of his 2010 World Tour profits to charity.
