Hello, yes? We’d like to report that possibly our favourite local line up so far has just been dropped. The perpetrator? One Jack River.
“Following the huge surge of electricity emitted by and for women last year in the worlds of music, politics and culture, I had to make something that reflected the times to me.” The Forster-born artist posted on her Facebook page today. “Here is Electric Lady World – an all female band night and platform featuring women emitting electricity in all fields.”
Featuring a jam-packed bill of women straight up killing it in Australia and abroad, Electric Lady is a celebration served up fierce. With Alex Lahey, Ali Barter, Bec Sandridge, Gretta Ray, Jack River herself, plus Body Type and Rackett on board, fans in Sydney and Melbourne can jump in on the fun.
