Jinja Safari announce final album details; two-part release Crescent Head due out this month!

Jinja Safari have revealed details of their final album release, coming in the form of a two-part record series titled Crescent Head. The band announced that they were calling time on their career back in January and in this final collection of music, the band are gifting fans with a special thank you of an album.

Named after Pepa Knight and Marcus Azon‘s hometown of Crescent Head, the album title is reflective of the music they made there and the origins of the band. “There was creative freedom in this process,” Azon has said. “As the main incentive for writing and releasing the songs was simply to give a little bit more music to the fans who had supported us for six odd years.”

The first part of Jinja Safari’s Crescent Head release is due out August 17th, with the second and final part due for release independently on August 24th. To get a taste of what’s coming on the album, check out this teaser in “So Much”.
