How to join the waitlist for Noah Kahan’s sold out 2024 Australian Tour

Noah Kahan

Rising to fame with his 2022 album, Stick Season, American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is quickly becoming a household name. Hitting Aussie shores in January 2024, he’s playing significantly larger venues than his previous tour in 2018, selling out all six shows including Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion twice. If you missed out, you can still join the waitlist – a link to that is at the end of the article!

Kahan’s 2017 breakthrough single, “Hurt Somebody” achieved gold status in the United States, and was part of an EP of the same name. His debut album, Busyhead, produced by Joel Little, followed in 2018, with I Was / I Am following 2021 and finally Stick Season in 2022. With the release of Stick Season, Kahan’s fame catapulted.

The lead single “Stick Season”, went viral on TikTok and charted internationally, reaching number 11 on the ARIA charts and peaking at 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track gained the attention of pop superstar and current it-girl Olivia Rodrigo, who covered it in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. In a 2017 interview with the AU review (HERE), Kahan said “If I could work with, or just play for like thirty seconds with Hozier, that would be a dream come true.” Fast forward to 2023 and he has done both of those things, playing his track “Northern Attitude” on stage with Hozier in Nashville and releasing a studio recording of the same track together. He has also collaborated with Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves and Gracie Abrams on re-released tracks from Stick Season, and featured on Zach Bryan’s “Sarah’s Place”. He also recently was musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where he performed “Dial Drunk” and of course “Stick Season”.

With all that said, it is no surprise that he has sold out all six shows on his Australian leg of the We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour. In our 2017 interview, when asked what his goals were, Noah replied, “The sky’s the limit!”, and he’s definitely living up to that as he continues to gain popularity- and it’s a joy to watch!
