After a successful debut last year, the Bello Winter Music festival will return in Bellingen (NSW) from 7 – 10 July. Following a similar format to its summer sister festival Mullum Music Festival, Bellingen’s clubs, cafes, churches and halls will host over 100 performances. Bello Winter Music festival is family-friendly and for all ages. It is all about fun, discovery and transforming spaces into new and interesting venues.
Get ready to amble from gig to gig and enjoy the music in intimate, comfortable spaces. The Bello Winter Music lineup this year includes Willie Watson (USA), Jeff Lang, Kylie Auldist, Tijuana Cartel, Mojo Juju, L-FRESH The LION, Jaaleekaay (W Afr/Aus) and more! The town of Bellingen will also come alive with street theatre, markets, free events and walking tours.
This year’s festival also features the Bellingen Leaf program, a sustainability focused program of workshops available at no extra cost to festival goers, and the hugely successful Youth Mentorship Program which gives young aspiring musicians the invaluable opportunity to receive mentorship from established artists on the lineup and to perform at the festival.
