Renowned rapper artist Lil’ Wayne will be headlining a new hip-hop festival across Sydney and Melbourne this March as Jumanji Festival makes stops in Sydney and Melbourne. The inaugural event will be one of the only hip-hop focused festivals of its kind in Australia, and it’s looking like the line-up will keep growing right up until the festival with big-name additions recently announced to join the Young Money emcee in both Melbourne Showgrounds and Parramatta Park.
In addition to Weezy, also hitting the stage will be in-demand producers Metro Boomin’ and DJ Mustard, trap-rapper Ace Hood, Weezy’s labelmate Tyga (described in a press release as “legendary rapper”), highly skilled and respected emcee Wale, and “Uber Everywhere” rapper Madeintyo.
The festival will be Wayne’s second time in Australia, following his support of Eminem a few years ago. And it’s nicely timed too, with the rapper’s expected comeback on the rise thanks to new mixtape Dedication 6: Reloaded and what should be a slew of show-stealing features throughout the year.
Tickets to the festival are on sale now over at jumanjifestival.com. Tickets are set from $148 (second release) for general release and $364 for VIP.
