While busy touring the globe, Lime Cordiale have announced their most ambitious tour to date. The group are set to reimagine their indie-pop anthems with a symphonic twist, teaming up with some of Australia’s leading orchestras, starting in August of this year.
Lime Cordiale with the Symphony Orchestras will see the Leimbach brothers bring their infectious energy to the stage alongside Vanessa Scammell (Birds of Tokyo, The Cat Empire) as conductor and Alex Turley (Genesis Owusu, Dan Sultan) as arranger.
Taking their catalog to new heights, the duo will perform hits like “Robbery”, “Temper Temper”, and “Dirt Cheap” backed by over 80 musicians. For Lime Cordiale, this fusion of pop and classical is a full-circle moment.
“With a cello-playing mum, we grew up playing classical clarinet and trumpet,” the brothers said. “This is a major bucket-list tick for us. It’s scary and intimidating, but our inner band nerds are all for it!”
The tour comes off the back of their ARIA #1 Award-winning album, Enough of The Sweet Talk, which dropped in July 2024. Featuring singles like “Cold Treatment” and “The Big Reveal”, the album solidified Lime Cordiale’s status as one of Australia’s most dynamic acts, boasting over 500 million Spotify streams and a reputation for unforgettable live shows.
Kicking off in August, the tour will visit Hamer Hall, the Sydney Opera House, Fortitude Music Hall, and more, with tickets going on sale from 10 am AEDT, Thursday 27 March (with presale tickets already on sale).
