The first year of Melbourne Music has brought a vast array of Arts and Entertainment events to Melbournians, one of its most fascinating being Cinemix.
Cinemix is the concept of giving a musician complete creative freedom in musically re-interpreting the score of a film. It is then played live simultaneously with the film for an audience.
This year, local Melbourne turn table extraordinaire DJ Dexter was given the opportunity to use his mad skills to mix the score to French film classic, La Haine.
Awesome.
