Lost Paradise festival to feature extensive wellness program, Shambhala Fields

Celebrate the end of 2022 and kick off the New Year with some great music, and a warm embrace of self-care at the Lost Paradise festival in Glenworth Valley. The festival will run from the 28th of December until the 1st of January 2023.

This festival has always been a favourite of mine. Glenworth Valley is ever so beautiful, the crowd is always mixed and the festival is big enough to draw good artists, but not so big it wears you out. Being only one hour north of Sydney, the location hits the sweet spot for convenience. It’s a camping festival, and there are some pretty posh glamping options if that’s your thing.

There is a formidable lineup of music this year at Lost Paradise. Amongst the artists featuring are Arctic Monkeys, Lil Nas, Peggy Gou, Spacey Jane, Jamie XX, Ocean Alley and heaps more. Check below for the full lineup.

Yes, the lineup is amazing, but you can also nourish your soul and give your body some self-love, with the wellness program, the likes of which I doubt we have seen at a music festival before in Australia.

There is a range of health, wellness and music workshops, talks, First Nations spaces and much more. Shambhala Fields will be an oasis for the self-care of the body and the mind.

National treasure and the seemingly endless font of all knowledge, Dr Karl will be in attendance to help bust myths and educate. The co-founder of Yoga Synergy, Simon Borg-Olivier (header image), will bring his expertise and share the wisdom of thirty-five years of yoga practice.

Classically-trained dancer, model and social media star Mimi Elashiry will be bringing her Move & Manifest workshop. This is bound to be a highlight for many.

Another highlight is  Byron Hinterlands-Bundjalung region-based artist Luen. You might know her as a former host on triple j, FBi Radio, and Skylab Radio. With her strong presence within the dance music world, Luen has been helping bridge the gap for female-identifying, non-binary and trans people how to DJ, having educated over 1000 of them. She will be bringing her DJ Workshop to Glenworth Valley, so if getting behind the decks has ever been a dream of yours, then this is a golden opportunity.

Our First Nations Australians will be curating a cultural program to help educate via live music, workshops and talks. Learn, be educated and connect with the rich spiritual and cultural history of Darkinjung country.

The Healing Haven will be the place to go for massages, tarot reading, acupuncture or unwind.
