Montreal’s Osheaga Festival lines up Tash Sultana, Amy Shark, Gang of Youths, Alex Lahey and more Aussies for 2018

Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, which takes place on the first weekend of August at Parc Jean-Drapeau, has lined up a mammoth lineup for its 2018 event. Among the big names to grace the stage this year include Travis Scott, Odesza, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys, Khalid and Florence and the Machine. And they’re accompanied by an impressive array of some of Australia’s hottest acts right now.

Fresh off a successful tour of North America, and ahead of a mammoth run of shows in Australia, Sydney outfit Gang of Youths will be playing on Sunday alongside Alex Lahey, who recently graced the main stage of Groovin’ The Moo around Australia – even having Paul Kelly join her on stage at the Maitland event. And having grown his reputation thanks to co-writes and support slots with The Killers, Alex Cameron is a welcome addition to the Friday lineup.

And then there’s Amy Shark and Tash Sultana – the latter already finding herself towards the top of the lineup on the Sunday, having sold out massive shows all over the world this year, and the growing name that is Amy Shark playing on the Friday.

For more information about the festival, which runs from the 3rd to the 5th of August in Montreal, head over to the Osheaga website.
