Morrissey announces Australian tour dates for October 2016

Legendary The Smiths vocalist Morrissey will be making a return to Australia for five shows as part of a wider, recently announced world tour. Just last year, Moz came down as a headliner for Sydney’s Vivid LIVE, playing to a sold out crowd at the Sydney Opera House, but this time he’ll be skipping the harbour city and heading on out across Melbourne, Adelaide, Wollongong, Newcastle, and Canberra – though we’d expect him to add other Australia dates further down the line.

The celebrated songwriter will kick the tour off at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on 22nd October of this year before heading down south to Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on the 26th. Canberra will follow with a show at Royal Theatre on the 28th, the following night will see Moz head to WIN Centre in Wollongong, and he’ll be wrapping up in Newcastle on the 31st in Civic Theatre.

Ticket details should be available soon but for now mark those dates in!
