We’ve been banging on about newcomer Billie Eilish for a little bit now and it seems that her recent trip to Austin for SXSW has left more people feeling the same way toward the British pop artist.
Her new single “Bellyache” is a dose of gorgeous pop music from the 15 year old – yes, 15 year old – and today, Eilish has shared its accompanying music video. Directed by Miles & AJ, Eilish is front and centre, walking on her lonesome down an isolated road; colourful and confident, the clip further posits Eilish as an artist perfectly capable of drawing one’s attention and captivating.
Much like Lorde did with her Tennis Court EP, Eilish is fast generating hype for herself online and she hasn’t even released a full length yet. Praise be to the Internet for bringing this talent to the public sphere – we can’t wait to see more of her as this year rolls out.
