Not surprisingly, Flume‘s latest outing in “Never Be Like You” has been riding strong on top of various radio charts throughout Australia and throughout the music blogosphere and rightly so – the producer’s knack for not only linking up with great talent, but also rolling out some tidy arrangements has only continued to strengthen. “Never Be Like You”, featuring Kai now has a film clip and it’s a good’n indeed.
Directed by Clemens Habicht, the mind behind the visuals for Flume’s tune with Andrew Wyatt “Some Minds”, the music video not only features a cameo from Flume himself, but stars rising Australian actress and singer Sophie Lowe. As Habicht says, “In a confused state, a girl loses control as she gives in to a delirious beautiful and grotesque abandon that blurs the boundaries between reality, sensation and perception as the world she is in melts away.”
