Canberra rockers Moaning Lisa have dropped a killer new single with “Carrie (I Want a Girl)”. The ACT’s nicest rock band are known for their energetic live shows, having shared the stage with Camp Cope, Ali Barter, Ball Park Music, and tons of other legends, as well as their face melting tunes.
As for the music video, Moaning Lisa has opted for a lo-fi edit featuring tons of great women from the Australian music industry. Featuring members of Camp Cope, Pup and Huntly among others, the video is reminiscent of Sleater-Kinney’s “No Cities to Love” (who’s front woman Carrie Brownstein is the titular Carrie).
